INJURY UPDATE PRE PILGRIMS

Ahead of our return to Championship football following the international break, where we are looking to make it five wins on the bounce, Regis Le Bris has provided an update on his newest acquisitions from the Summer transfer window, most notably Ahmed Abdullahi is set to undergo surgery where we won't expect to see him until the end of the year...

SALIS ABDUL SAMED CLOSE

“At the minute, we have two injured players. Salis is now training in the first part of the sessions, and he will be available for selection in eight or ten days."

AHMED ABDULLAHI OUT

“For Ahmed, he will have surgery and he may have 10 or 12 weeks off the pitch. We were aware of the problem [before he signed], but we needed an expert to understand exactly what the problem was. Now, we know. The diagnosis is clear, and it will be solved after this surgery. He had this pain, a soreness in his groin, for a long time. It was not very clear, but now I think it will be solved.”

MEPHAM AND ALEKSIC READY

“All the players who have been away are back with no problems. Otherwise, there's no new injuries. Chris and Milan are available."
