From ALS' Lines from London writer, Ian Mole. 40 stories about life in Sunderland 1960-1966 including pop music, camping, going to the baths plus Sunderland smells, sounds and sights.

On New Year’s Day Dad would always shout to our Linda and me that a man with as many noses as there were days of the year was walking down the street. We’d rush to the window to try and get a glimpse of him but then Dad would shout from the other side of the window to hurry over as the man was about to go around the corner. As soon as we got there of course he would say that we just missed him.
