Before our game against Bristol City, RLB has said that he is pleased Mepham is once again available and that Bellingham and Rigg both avoided suspensions before the cards were reset.
CHRIS MEPHAM AVAILABLE
"He's very important for us because he's experienced, he knows the level and he's a good player. It's a good problem for me [whether to select him] and the staff as well, to have good players in the same area and they can push each other. When we have a suspension and injuries, we are still a good back four. It's a good problem I think. For tomorrow we will see because we have the afternoon to think about the right set up to start and we know that we will have seven games until the 4th January, so many games to play and we can have a full team with many players available."
YELLOW CARDS RESET
"It's good news because we need them [Bellingham and Rigg], they are very good on the pitch. They had to manage that situation properly and I think they did well, it's not always easy, especially in the midfield, you have to deal with many difficult situations. Sometimes you can't avoid a yellow card. I think Jobe was on the edge often but it was good in the end."
REFEREE VERSUS STOKE CITY
"I think he managed the game properly because he felt that the rhythm was good and the intentions of the players were good. If you don't have to give a yellow card, it's fine. The referee is a part of the game and he feels that you don't have to stop the game and give a yellow card, it's better like that."
