PRAISE FOR AA

Both Regis Le Bris and Patrick Roberts had good things to say about Adil Aouchiche after an impressive sub cameo against Bristol City which results in a late equaliser. The 22-year-old has not started a Championship match this season and has even struggled for minutes off the bench, meaning a January departure looks likely, but there are five games between now and the start of January for the Frenchman to prove his value to the team.

RLB SAID:

"I have said before that we have to use every player and Adil is one of these. He has good qualities. Probably on the left side when he can connect the number eight and the left back, he can create something different. He is not a winger who likes dribbling but he can combine, and he is a player who can create something from nothing. He can disturb the organisation sometimes but on the opposite side, he can create something."

ROBERTS SAID:

“I've got to give great credit to Adil. He's been nothing but put his head down in training. When he gets his opportunity, he gets his opportunity. I thought he did really well tonight. You've got to give credit, he's a great player. He sees them kind of plays and it was just a simple pass, you'd say. He's an intelligent footballer. He just laid on a plate and I just thought I'd just lash it as hard as I can. I'm thankful it went like that.”
