RLB reckons Enzo Le Fee will be in the squad on Saturday, but is keen not to rush the French talent back too early. With Sunderland now pretty much stuck in fourth place, surely the focus has to be getting ELF firing on all cylinders in time for the play-offs...
INVOLVED VS WBA
“Yeah. That should be the case. We will try to be more cautious. The situation was a bit different [prior to the injury] because at that time we were still in the title race and two wingers were injured and the core of the team was really short, but now it’s a bit different.”
PLAY CENTRALLY
“I hope so, because that is his best position so we will try to connect with the midfielders and see if it’s possible.”
NEIL/RIGG/JOBE
“For those three especially, they don’t really need competition, because they are so well connected with the game, and they are really committed to improve their game every day. With Enzo, we will have another option, a different style of play, maybe different connections; maybe we can open the rotation of the midfield, for example. It’s tough to play every minute with only three players; if you have a fourth player for the output of the team, it’s better.”
