Sunderland lost their final game of the season 3-1 to Swansea City at the SOL on Sunday afternoon after Gus Poyet's side turned up for the game with sun tan lotion, beach balls and lie lows in tow – but who cares were safe!

So it's over, and in typical Sunderland style, we finished it in typical Sunderland fashion. Despite walking to the match with a smile on my face and Three Little Birds tweeting in my head, it was not to end with success as Swansea in general and Wilf Bony in particular were too much for us on the day.
